The State of Change

Resources for a World in Crisis

Without question, we are living in a wild, uncertain time. Nothing could have prepared us for dealing with this, as business owners and as people. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact our world in ways we couldn’t have imagined, we want all our clients, partners and friends to know that we’re all in this together. Really.

We recently went to the many business and nonprofit leaders we’re privileged to serve to find out what’s actually going on at the ground level. We wanted to know where you’re stuck and overwhelmed and what you need most. And, in response to what so many of you told us, we’re working hard to get you practical resources that you’ll be able to use to navigate through this thing.

In this time of great uncertainty, the 5by5 team is creating a series of resources to serve leaders and businesses of all sizes. We’re calling it the State of Change series, and we’ll be providing you with information, tools and answers to the many questions we know you’re wrestling with, as best we can.

ON-DEMAND WEBINARS

Managing Your Mental Health in Tough Times

Guests: Dr. Curt Thompson, psychiatrist, speaker, and author

WATCH ON-DEMAND NOW

There has long been an increasing dialogue around the importance of mental health in our world, and perhaps we’ve never needed it more than we do right now.

The current crisis is rippling across the world and is touching every one of us, in different ways. We all feel so many emotions, often swinging from one extreme to another within a few moments. Perhaps most challenging is that we’re not sure how we are “supposed” to feel, as if there is a right and wrong way to feel in such unprecedented, uncertain times. What we often fail to do is give ourselves permission to just be human and to embrace whatever it is we feel, but with hope. But how?

In this webinar, 5by5 CEO, Shannon Litton, talks with psychiatrist, author and speaker, Dr. Curt Thompson, about ways we can look after our mental health, be honest and maintain hope in the midst of difficult times.

Psychiatrist, speaker, and author Curt Thompson weaves together an understanding of interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) and a Christian view of what it means to be human — to educate and encourage others as they seek to fulfill their intrinsic desire to feel known, valued and connected.
