Admittedly, the title sounds clickbait-y, but we promise it is 100% true. Not only is it true, but you can also use the same process we did to potentially dramatically increase your ROI when it comes to your ad spend.

First, some background:

Our client Waco Tours is an awesome, locally-owned company that, true to its name, provides tour experiences to visitors of Waco, Texas. They aren’t just an ordinary tour company, though. They still take customers around the usual popular hotspots, but they also showcase some of the homes that have appeared on the incredibly popular HGTV show Fixer Upper, starring Chip & Joanna Gaines.

Working with Waco Tours, we saw a huge demand for the service right off the bat. We were getting a 7x return on Google Ads since people were organically searching for the kind of experience they were offering.

The other channel we were running ads through was Facebook – but not seeing nearly the return we were getting from Google Ads. The clicks were there, but the purchases weren’t.

We wanted to offer potential customers a way back in without putting the exact same ad in front of them again.

Here is the trick we used to pull off one of our biggest successes ever…

We created remarketing ads that targeted those non-converters with a discount code. This didn’t reduce the main value of the tour, since they could keep their price the same across the board, but gave these people who were on the fence some extra incentive to purchase a ticket now.

Through this campaign, we were able to deliver 20-30x the ad spend for Waco Tours. This just goes to show the power of remarketing to your lists and getting creative with it. You might want to spend some time thinking about how you can remarket to the people on your list who almost said yes. You might be sitting on a gold mine.
