Meet our Senior Copywriter, Laura!
She’s a boomerang team member – life drew her away for a bit, but Laura has returned to us with more wisdom and words than ever before.
What were you doing before this?
I started writing part-time for 5by5 in 2015. In 2020, my family moved to Alabama so in 2021, I took an opportunity at a local agency.
What drew you back to 5by5?
The culture and people of 5by5 are great. I love working with clients who are making a difference. I’m extremely excited about the opportunity to take on this new role with more responsibility.
What’s one thing we would not guess about childhood Laura?
I was born in Canada and did not move to the US until I was six.
What’s one thing you are trying to learn right now?
With three kids, I’m using any spare time I have to learn more about gentle parenting. And I would love to be fluent in Spanish one day!
Who is a change maker that is inspiring you right now?
BigHouse Foundation serves foster families and the kids in their care. We fostered our two oldest children before adopting them and really love the work being done through BigHouse.
