About the design team:
The 5by5 design team is a collaborative group of in-house experts in design, video, UX, copy, and a host of other skills that support our change maker clients. This award-winning team is based in Nashville and work on creative used all over the globe.
About the role:
We are seeking a Creative Director to lead and expand our design team's creativity, elevating the impact for our clients. You’ll be directing and presenting strategy-informed design, UX, photography, video and copy for some of the largest change makers in the world. You will be responsible for determining high-level creative strategy, direction, and goals for various clients that will resonate with local, national and global audiences. The ideal candidate is a creative leader with a concept-driven approach who constantly strives for clarity in their message. They are an expert in their craft, with the ability to inspire and empower artists on a team to create their best work. They should have the ability to adapt to various creative styles and mediums, not afraid to use innovative AI tools to accomplish the right goals of the client. They will collaborate closely with the Development and Digital Team Leads to ensure alignment and results. At the end of each day, you’ll go home knowing you were a part of great work for clients who are making the world a better place.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Solutions-based creative thinker, able to distill and direct the transition of strategic ideas into creative execution
- Experience in presenting inspiring creative concepts to clients, giving them a vision for their brand or campaign.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while providing insight and direction on multiple projects for multiple clients in a given day.
- Ability to lead and mentor both in-house and outsourced creative team with a team-win mentality, evaluating and directing efficient, effective creative solutions
- Comfortable with the tension of creating quality work while meeting budget and timelines
- Enhancing a values-based environment where trust, accountability, and commitment to results drive a healthy team culture.
- Experience storyboarding, planning, and directing photography and video shoots
- 4+ Years experience in design and leadership, preferably in an agency or large brand environment
